Edgefield Veterinary Hospital, LLC is conveniently located at 1 Gigante Drive in Hampstead NH.  We are a privately owned, full-service veterinary hospital that has been providing quality care for dogs, cats and small domestic animals since 1990.

We understand your pet plays a special role in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet’s health care. Our goal is to provide compassionate care while maintaining the highest medical standards. Our services are designed to assist in routine preventative care, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, pain management, and complete medical, dental and surgical care as necessary during your pet’s entire lifetime.  We believe it is very important to tailor medical services, including vaccine protocols, to the individual needs of your pet.  When needed, we are happy to consult with or refer your pet to a Veterinary Specialist (oncology, cardiology, internal medicine etc).  We are also pleased to offer acupuncture and chiropractic services as we realize a holistic approach to pet care is important to our clients.

Our mission is to treat your pets as we would treat our own.  We know that you have a choice when it comes to veterinary care and we appreciate your patronage with us!  

We are happy to serve Rockingham County including the communities of Hampstead, East Hampstead, Atkinson, Danville, Sandown, Chester, Derry, Windham, Fremont, Exeter, Newton, Kingston, Plaistow, Londonderry, Salem and the surrounding areas.  We are also happy to serve Essex County including the communities of Haverhill, Amesbury, Methuen, Lawrence, Andover, North Andover and their surrounding areas.

Our first priority is the health and safety of our staff members and our clients so we ask that you read the following guidelines carefully.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.  You may email feedback@edgefieldvet.com with questions, comments or concerns; this email is monitored by the owner and manager only and all emails will be kept strictly confidential when necessary.

  • If you or anyone close to you are experiencing or think you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (ie. fever, cough, shortness of breath etc) please CALL US BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT as we have to ask that you reschedule your appointment.
  • If you or anyone close to you has been exposed to COVID-19 please call us to reschedule your appointment.

Before arrival/during your visit

  • Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before visiting our hospital
  • If soap and water are unavailable please use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until the feel dry.
  • All clients MUST be wearing masks when in the room with a staff member.

Social distancing

We are still open for business but due to continued health concerns in regards to C-19 we are still following C-19 polices.  Please follow the steps below so we can continue to provide the best care possible to your furry family members.  

  • When you arrive for your appointment or surgery you MUST CALL US FROM THE PARKING LOT (603-329-6553) to let us know you’re here and we will explain our policy for transporting your pet inside.  As of May 2020 we are allowing one person in with strict guidelines and are happy to do curbside as well if you are not comfortable coming into the building (please call us for our end of life policy).
  • Email us (refills@edgefieldvet.com) at least 48 hours ahead (7 days for specialized orders) for any medications or food you may need. We will take a credit card for payment over the phone. Once you have arrived please CALL US FROM THE PARKING LOT and we will explain our policy for getting your products.  We are here for medication/food pickups Mon-Fri (We are still not available for pickup on Sat as we have limited staff).
  • All cats must be in carriers and all dogs must have properly fitting collars for transport to and from the building.
